Hello, lovelies! It's Valentine's Day! A day for couples everywhere to express their love for one another. *big sigh* Oooor, a Hallmark holiday created to make us blindly spend money on silly things like chalky candy hearts and heart-sharped boxes of waxy chocolate. However you happen to look at it.

Personally, I don't mind Valentine's Day. So, when I saw Stephanie Haefner's Show Me The Love Blogfest, I just had to join in. It's a lot of fun and pretty darn simple! All you've got to do is answer these questions and have them posted on your blog by 10:00 AM EST TODAY. Then, pop around to the other participants' blogs to see what they said!

1- What is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you?

Oh, lord. There's so much to choose from. Y'see, I live with an overly-romantic dork who likes to make every little thing as gushy as possible. (Not that I really mind. It is pretty sweet.) For example, whenever I leave my computer, even if it's just for a second, I'll come back to find he's typed "I love you" on whatever document I have open.

But I guess if I really had to choose, I'd have to say the most romantic thing he's ever done for me was reading my book. Yeah, yeah. I'm sure you're like, "Whaa...?" But check this out--Travis doesn't read. At all. I think he's probably only read three novels in his whole life, one of those being mine. But he still sat down with me, night after night, and read my monster of a book. Not exactly textbook romance, but it really made me feel good.

2- What is your favorite love song?

Stevie Wonder's I Just Called to Say I Love You. Yep. I'm corny like that.

3- Do you have a favorite romantic movie or book?

Alright, I'll admit it. I'm not an avid watcher/reader of romance. Oooh, wow. What's that I hear? The angry mobs moving in with their torches and pitchforks? Aw, crap.

I guess I'd go with...the middle portion of Titanic?

4- Do you have any romantic plans for Valentine's Day this year?

Does watching TV and pigging out on a disgusting mix of chocolate and Easy Cheese count as romantic? Then, yeah. I've got an uber romantic day planned out.

5- What's your favorite romantic treat? (candy, chocolate, edible body paint, etc...)

Oh, this is easy. Chocolates of ANY KIND! I'm a chocoholic. Really--I've got a problem.
